branding exploration
drawing from Our Place's form & CMF cues, I designed an electric kettle to fit into their product lineup. a kettle fits well with their existing product family, and lends itself well to the brand's playful yet refined aesthetic.
brand language
Our Place utilizes a warm minimalism in their product lineup- their products are clean and simple yet softened through color, form, and tactility.
form development
I explored a few different concept areas, pulling out different design elements from Our Place's existing product family. I modeled the concepts out, which helped me then narrow in on which one was most fitting to the brand.
I took features from each concept, then finalized from there.

I took design cues from Our Place's cookware products, as well as their electric appliances for the final kettle concept.
